Who we are

This site is run by Assertion Labs. Contact: hello@assertionlabs.com.

Inquiries

If you send an inquiry, we collect your name, email, organization (optional), the topic you choose, your message, the page you sent it from, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. We use these details to reply to your inquiry. This website passes them to Assertion Labs’ inquiry system through its server and does not keep its own copy. Not having a reply time or retention period here is deliberate: those terms are set by Assertion Labs’ inquiry system and have not yet been confirmed for this notice.

Optional product-update consent is separate and unchecked by default. If selected, that preference is included with your inquiry; it does not itself enroll you in a mailing service.

In your browser

If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Your analytics preference is also stored locally. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets measurement cookies and receives page views, engagement, traffic sources, and signup-request events. Advertising features are disabled. Email addresses, inquiry contents, and confirmation links are never sent to Analytics. Change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer.

Server logs

Like most websites, the server may record technical request details such as time, path, and status code. Inquiry contents are not written to logs.

The example walkthrough

The walkthrough uses only fictional, hand-written data. Interactions emit local, allowlisted events without contact details. The detailed walkthrough events stay local; general page visits, demo clicks, and scroll depth may be measured when you allow analytics.

Product updates

The separate product-update form asks for your email and explicit consent. We use Resend to send a confirmation link valid for 48 hours. Only after confirmation is your address subscribed to the CliqueMap product-updates topic. We record the notice version and the time your preference changed. This subscription is separate from Assertion Labs articles or Parla updates.

Use the unsubscribe link in any update or the confirmation email to stop CliqueMap updates. Existing account-wide opt-outs are respected. Your address may remain with Resend for other subscriptions or suppression. Contact us to request deletion. Pending confirmation requests are not stored in a local database; the email provider retains delivery records.

Google Analytics processes optional measurement data; Resend processes subscription and delivery data. Website hosting is provided by Fly.io. We do not sell email addresses.
